# HandledInbox

Every message costs a decision. Most of them are the same decision, made again.

You already know who gets answered in an hour and who waits a week. You already know
which newsletters you never read. But no tool has ever said, quietly, "great, I'll
handle it." So the person you answer fastest still waits for you to type, and the mail
you never wanted still gets looked at.

## What it does

HandledInbox reads how you already handle email, then takes over the repeatable part,
under rules you set and can see. It sorts everyone who mails you into a small set of
groups. For each group you grant exactly one permission:

- **Leave it.** Nothing is touched. The mail sits where it landed.
- **Batch it.** Folded into one daily digest instead of forty interruptions.
- **Draft it.** A reply in your voice, waiting in your own Drafts folder.
- **Send it.** Earned, not granted. After you approve twenty of a group's drafts
  untouched, it can send without asking.

Drafts land in your own mail client. Approval is pressing Send. There is no new app to
live in, and nothing escalates on its own.

## Before it shows you a draft, it practices in private

It writes replies to messages you already answered, then compares its version against
what you actually wrote. Blind judges saw both and picked the human one: **80% of the
time, judges picked the machine's draft as the human one** (pre-registered bar 70%,
p < 0.0001).

The detail that makes the difference: you don't greet the people you're closest to.
65% of real replies have no greeting line at all. Every other AI staples "Hey Kim,"
onto everything, and that is exactly how you spot the fake. This one measures who you
greet, and how, per person, and matches it.

## Who's doing the work

The handler has a name. Ours is Marlowe. Yours is up to you: when you connect, the
first thing you do is name your handler. Marlowe signs only what it says as itself,
the daily digest and the occasional question. It never signs the drafts; those are
your voice. It never pretends to be human. Staff, not mascot.

## Control

Every group starts at the safest setting. You move the levers. The groups come from
two things it measures separately: how fast you already reply to someone, which sets
the action, and how you already greet them, which sets the voice. Never blended into
one importance score, because a CEO is often formal and fast, and that is the exact
person a one-dimensional list destroys.

Autosend is on offer, and it is earned: a group unlocks it only after you approve
twenty of its drafts without touching them. Every decision the system makes is
recorded and reviewable.
